Cecilio Perera, Guitarist
“I grew up listening to guitar sounds when I grew up at home in Yucatan Mexico. My mom used to play guitar, my brother use to play guitar so I grew up listening to the guitar sounds almost every day. I use to have a lot of CDs and videos. That’s why one day I wanted actually how to play the guitar. I use to have a guitar at home just standing there but one time I took the guitar and I put it on my leg and it felt comfortable for me.

I play many different styles; I play from the baroque period, renaissance period, classical period, romantic and modern period. I play a lot of twentieth century music or the twenty-first century. So, I play different styles and my style of playing I would say it is very always try to put a lot of fire and passion in my intentions. It’s more or less, let’s say, my signature. When I play on the stage, I always try to share all my emotions with the audience. Share passions, what I am feeling on the stage at the moment.”

Tickets are for free. So if you can head out to the Bliss for this one of a kind recital.
