Location of MegaBingo unclaimed winning tickets identified

Are you a MegaBingo progressive jackpot winner? There are two thirty-three thousand dollar prizes waiting to be claimed so you might want to check and re-check your tickets from February twelfth. There were three winners and so far, only one person has come forward to claim the cash. And since the game is aired live on this station, viewers have called with questions on how to get their tickets checked. So News Five spoke to MegaBingo Host, Rachel Armstrong, about how the winners can be verified and we found out exactly where the other two lucky persons got their tickets.

“The first one was at Brodies on Albert Street and the second was at Cindy’s Store in Punta Gorda.”

“Okay, we’ve been getting calls; people not sure how to find out whether or not they have won or having some problems at the stores. Can you explain how they can get their tickets checked?”

Rachel Armstrong

“Okay, well every store that sells MegaBingo should have a scanner so the guys can go right into the store and ask to scan their tickets for them. It’s an easy process. Some people they get confused about the patterns because when the pattern has already been won, they still continue the game and sometimes they get that straight line but the straight line has already been won. But they have the misconception that the game continues and the pattern can still be won. But we kinda stress on every game that once a pattern has been won, it’s out of the game. It goes on to the next pattern in the order of straight line, letter X, inside world and outside world.”

“And then the jackpot.”

Rachel Armstrong

“And then yes, the progressive jackpot.  There is still a lot of money to be given out; almost thirty thousand dollars. Two people still have those tickets in their hands waiting. I don’t know what they’re waiting for. Come down to collect your prize because they have a six month deadline to collect their tickets.”

Lorena Leiva of Orange Walk was the first to collect share of the February twelfth jackpot and she took home twenty-eight thousand, eight hundred ninety four dollars and ninety cents after taxes.
