Lord’s Bank man stabbed multiple times but survives

A resident of Lord’s Bank Village is recovering from a surgery tonight after he suffered multiple stab wounds to his chest and abdomen on Thursday night.  The victim, thirty year-old Michael Usher, was found near the junction of the Lord’s Bank Road and the Northern Highway sometime after eight on Thursday night and dropped off at the Airport Camp Hospital in Ladyville.  He was transported by BERT ambulance to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in Belize City where he underwent surgery to repair a serious wound to the abdomen.  Ladyville police that Usher was stabbed in the same vicinity where he was found and are investigating the incident.  Usher, meanwhile, remains in the Surgical Ward at the KHMH recovering from the wounds.
