Head on collision on Boom Road claims one life
A head on collision on the Boom/Hattieville Road on Sunday evening resulted in the loss of one life. Reports to News Five are that thirty-two year old Sergio Gongora was driving towards Fresh Pond around six thirty when his silver Hyundai crashed into a Ford Ranger headed in the opposite direction. Gongora, whose family owns Nimbus Purified Water Company and Tutsi Ideal, died at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck Roberto Fuentes was treated at the K.H.M.H. for minor injuries. Ladyville police say Fuentes will likely be charged with Manslaughter by Negligence later this week.
