He won over $57,000 from Lotto

Tonight, fifty-nine year old Angel Santos Tillett is a happy camper. Tillett’s bank account has grown by fifty-seven thousand, three hundred and seventy-five dollars after he hit the lotto jackpot, which stood at sixty-seven thousand five hundred dollars before taxes. The Canero of San Lazaro says he’s a regular lotto buyer and bought the winning ticket on Saturday, but only found out that he was the winner on Wednesday. A very humble Tillett told us how he selected the winning numbers.

“I had bought this sequence of numbers before and I had saved the old ticket and I bought the same numbers again, and this time it played.”

“How did you come up with the numbers? Did you have a dream the first time you bought them?”

“Yes I had a dream but I cant remember clearly what the dream was about.”

“How did you find out you’re the winner of the lotto?”

Angel Santos Tillett

“Well I first heard that someone won the jackpot, but I didn’t know it was me. It wasn’t until yesterday that I decided to check if I had the free letter and then I noticed that  I had three of the numbers and I saw I also had the last number but I wasn’t sure of the 19. It was when my daughter came home and checked the numbers that she told me I had the winning ticket and that was when I was absolutely sure I had won.”

“When you found out that you had won the lotto, what was the feeling like?”

“Well it was a welcome, lucky moment, but I wasn’t moved by it, it was like any other normal time.”

“So what did your family say?”

“They said finally I experience some good luck.”

“What do you plan to do with the money?”

Angel Santos Tillett

“Well I have a house that I want to finish build. I will also invest some money in my cane fields, because this year that passed I had some poor crops with the cane that I planted, so I will invest in new plantings.”

Tillett won with the numbers 01-07-13-19-32. Angel and his wife, Emelda, are the parents to four grown children.
