Eighteen year old charged for murder of cab driver

Forty-four year old Kirk Belisle was shot and killed in Belize City while repairing a rented black Chevy Nova near Shiloh Seventh Day Adventist Church on La Croix Street off Central America Boulevard on April tenth. Today a fisherman was charged with his murder. Belisle had retired for the night but left home when his taxi service was requested. He didn’t get too far when his car broke down. A group of young men had stopped to render assistance to the disabled cab driver when a lone gunman approached them and opened fire indiscriminately. While the men were fortunate to have escaped the incident unharmed Belisle was shot in the back of his head. It turned fatal for the taxi driver who died instantly. A subsequent police investigation led to the arrest of eighteen year old Kevin Bodden, a fisherman of a Lavender Street Address. Bodden appeared before Chief Magistrate Margaret McKenzie earlier today where he was read a single charge of murder. As the offense is an indictable matter no plea was taken from him and Bodden was remanded to the Belize Central Prison until May third.

I am shocked at the gross disrespect in this young generation;the legal system is at risk the education system with corporal punishment about to go out will be a nightmare,ah by the way are we still civilized and governed by civilized God fearing caring Governments?

This boy has not even started living and he has given up his life. This comes from a society that has nothing to look forward to. These kids are without hope, this country needs to go in a different direction. Is there anyone in government with a vision for the future, instead of fighting each other in meetings, ast like grown men and begin to strategies for the future of the country.
The only way to get rid of these useless thugs is ti get a hit on them. To wait for trial then ti find evidence missing and peoplebeing threatened and eventually they walk free, no no no, organise to kill him and save that trouble!

And to the witnesses who are now afraid, that fear is legitimate but please remember that it was just by the grace of God that you are still alive. Do you really want this rabid animal back on your streets?
