Police looking for accused rapist

Police are looking for a man after he allegedly raped a woman inside her home. The fifty-six year old housewife, who lives at mile forty-four on the Old Northern Highway, told Orange Walk police that she was alone at home around ten on Sunday morning when a man she knows as Sergio Betancourt came to her door asking for a glass of water. The woman said she let the man in and went to the kitchen to get the water. However, he followed her, threw her down and had sexual relations with her against her will. Police say Betancourt lives in the same area as the victim and they are asking residents to be on the lookout.
