Belizean involved in armed robbery of jewelry store in México
A Belizean is in major trouble across the border. Forty-two year old Argimiro Leiva has been arrested along with two Mexican nationals following an armed robbery on Wednesday morning at Aimee jewelry store in downtown Chetumal. The Mexican cops have recovered most of the loot; a whopping three hundred and forty thousand dollars in jewelry and over one thousand five hundred dollars in cash as well as two handguns and ammunition, a knife, two masks and two cell phones. Two other persons are also in custody, thirty-nine year old Pioquinto Analco from Acapulco and thirty-four year old Jose del Carmen Cervantes from Campeche. According to a report on Enfoque Radio, María Guadalupe del Carmen Aguayo, the manager, was about to open the jewelry store when she was ambushed by three armed men who forced her and another employee inside. She told Police that the assailants cleaned out all the display cases and the cash register before escaping. A police operation led them to Leiva, who was the first to be detained. Analco and Cervantes were arrested shortly after, when they boarded a taxi and demanded the driver to take them to the Colonia Forjadores market. It has not yet been determined what else was taken from the store, but the cops have confiscated the personal documents of the three suspects.
Thanks for taking your business across the border. Hopefully time in a Mexican jail will scare him straight.
Looks bad on Belize that one of it’s citizens has crossed the border and was involved in this, however the good part is that Mexico will surely show us how justice should be served. Remember, My Legacy B 4 My People.
Mr Leiva got involved in the right country because witness intimidation won’t be possible. The Mexican authorithies will definately put your @ dah jail.
i like the version now “what you do in mexico, stays in mexico” since no dickie will be around and no jury that will play lame with help leiva. keep him in mexico, we’ll send some more there, since here the justice system is a joke.
I can most definitely assure you that when Mr. Leiva gets out of Mexican prison, IF he ever does, Belize will have skyscrapers and sbuways, IF Belize still exists! It’s a pity the rest of criminals don’t go across the border to commit their crimes so that they can get the sense of what real justice feels like. And while you’re at it mr. Leiva, I suggest you ask the judge to issue you a steel chastity belt because dude….are you gonna get it!!!
hahah stupid Belizean now he will finally learn police actually catch robbers across the border.
I would like to see a picture of Leiva. Who is he and from which district? Was he involved with any other criminal activities going on in Belize? would be interesting to get a snop shot of his life in Belize.
