Attorney says the home was ransacked during raid
As we said, at about six this evening, Menjivar was finally taken to the police station for processing. His attorney, Arthur Saldivar told News Five that the house was completely ransacked and that Menjivar was injured.

“All rooms, all rooms in a whole has been shot up. There are bullet holes in the kids’ bedroom, in the room that was being used by the maid, in the room that is used by Mister Menjivar and wife, in the parlor or hall—the entire house, all around the house was shot up. The doors were completely destroyed—the front door in particular. The entrance into the home, it was kicked open. It looks like downtown Bagdad and I haven’t been to Bagdad, but I imagine that is what a place in Bagdad would look like after they subject it to sustained automatic weapon. Certainly it was automatic weapons that were in used at the time. The dogs in the yard were killed—three were shot, two died—one is holding on to life, but suffering. I totally, the scene is unreal.”

“When the police arrived, from what I understand, if that vehicle that was shot was there—it was a vehicle with white license plate. Certainly no shots was fired to the dogs being killed. So it stands to reason any person in their home appreciating that someone is killing their animal, somebody is shooting in their yard, by matter of sports, if you have a firearm would do whatever you can to defend yourself. And I believe that’s what took place. Now considering that these shots were not only being fired from one direction, or at one location, but all around the house, it does not mesh well for what Mister Vidal had to say. Certainly that has to be checked, but what is certain is that Mister Menjivar had his wife and three minor children in that home. Every responsibility and every reason to do what he could to defend himself from what he believed were home invaders noh.”

One last thing, people must know that the officers from GSU made some of the most prejudice and discriminating comments. The kids inside the house heard when officers would tell each other “we shoulda mi kill the @**hole one time…”. Another officer said outside infront of the media, “I don’t like deh round deh ya !***ing spanish, dats why me no come da cabana”.
They have no respect and they demand respect. The detainees were not allowed to use the restroom and were forced to do their necesities right there and then. How about the right of these HUMAN beings?
Mike’s brother and Ismael Chacon’s son, who went to inquire upon being called by the security were detained and beat up like animals. Left out in the sun for some 5 hours and not allowed to use restroom nor were they given drinking water. On top, they used one of the phones and text a contact on the phone “traeme cuatro bolsas de buen polvo y veinte onsas de buen marijuana”. Mr Saldivar confronted Mr Vidal upon receiving the message which was forwarded to him and he could not respond.
People watch out because you could be next. If someone no like you, he can just tip off GSU and you will have this coming for u. LETS STAND TOGETHER AGAINST INJUSTICE!!!

Is the GSU even commissioned under the Police Act. I don’t think so. If the GSU was under the police Act then the Police Commissioner should have an operational order should be in place. Another thing people wants to know is who and which authority issue the warrant….hope its not the DPP because then it would be a conflict of interest between the role of husband ‘Commander of GSU versus the role of wife ‘DPP’ . The GSU seem to be operating like one of those political directed paramilitary death squads that operated in the region in the past. Mr Vidal cannot seriously believe that he could subvert the law and act with impunity to serve his political masters then hide behind the legal skirts of his DPP wife without response in equal measure as a reaction. All these repressive forces that operated liberally in the region in the past have found out that the consequenses could be harsh or harsher as is happening in much of the reason.

These officers risk their lives everyday to do tghe jobs that many people dont have the balls to do. as a cop if your working to hard- ur harrassing the people, and if your not working- your lazy and aint doing $#!%. these cops have families also and if it means protecting themselves so that they coiuld go home to their families then i would do the same thing. they work hard for a little money and no benefits.
