San Pedro casino hit hard by burglars

Eight days after a San Pedro Credit Union was hit by armed robbers, thieves decided to target a gambling house in the island town. According to police reports, around four on Tuesday morning, two masked men broke into Casino Belize, located on Coconut Drive and stole fifty-nine thousand nine hundred and thirty dollars in cash and eleven hundred in traveler’s cheques. A surveillance video shows the culprits breaking a glass door to gain entry and investigators continue to screen it for clues to their identity. The management of Casino Belize is tonight offering a reward of ten thousand dollars for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.
