Premium and regular gas go down while diesel goes up
There’s good and bad news for drivers, depending on what type of fuel your vehicle uses. On Wednesday night, the pump price for premium gasoline rolled back thirteen cents and is now at eleven dollars and forty-seven cents. A thirteen cent decrease took the price of regular fuel just below the eleven dollar mark and it’s selling at ten dollars and ninety-nine cents per gallon. But the bad news is for drivers who use diesel fuel, because the price shot up thirty-two cents to ten dollars and forty cents.
Essentially prices of fuel have remained exorbitant inasmuch as they must hover around $4 to $5 per gallon to provide fair, competetive profits to the supply and demand market. Any prices above these recommended, researched prices amount to gouging by government because of its tax system. These exorbitant prices will continue to depress the economy along with those other factors that repell bona fide investors. Why can’t the government understand that high fuel prices drive away investors and by continuing to stick to the same old policy of high prices will not take the economy out of recession but will cause intelligent citizens to realize GOB is not rational in pursuing good for the people.
