Murder confession; woman’s affection and taunts

In another murder, a student of St. Johns Junior College was shot and killed on Sunday night. The Police Department has since charged another student for the homicide. Eighteen year old Steven Perez was on Dolphin Street when he was shot in the wrist, abdomen and chest. Cemetery Road resident, Ruben Price was charged for the homicide. The motive has not been confirmed, but sources close to News Five say that Price confessed to the murder while dishing out to investigators that the motive was jealousy over a young woman’s affection. The story goes that Price’s girlfriend had an affair and broke up with him to be with Perez. Apparently Perez has admitted that the victim would ride up to him and taunt him by asking him if he knew where his girlfriend was, before and after the emotional breakup.
OMG! Is this the new way to settle disputes? And over a young lady’s affection? I’m sadden and speechless!
All i have to say is…wow! that is sad
Belizeans need to shut down the entire country by protesting against these violence in the country.There should be no open businesses,offices, schools, stores etc. Invite the local and foreign news to come in and take note. That would get the government’s attention.What’s happening in Belize is past ridiculous,.

Don’t agree with what he did but jealousy, especially for a young man can lead a boy to temporary insanity. Just try to think how this boy felt already to know that his girlfriend cheated on him and to make it worse, the other boy would come and rub it in his face every time? Again, I don’t agree with his actions but he was hurting badly it seems. Sad! I wonder how the girl feels. I surely hope that she feels some guilt for his death!
At least now all Belizeans can see the stupid reasons why people are killing one another in the city. It really has nothing to do with the GOB. Belize city is just a crime infested dump!
This is just wrong and sad. why would a person kill some one only because of jealousy? while he killed Perez the girl wont be with him never again and still she will be with someone. no matter what he does, mean while he has taken the life of a person and made his own consequences.
