Although he only had opportunity for a cursory glance at the bill, Smith believes that there will be further litigation.

“All I can say is I that haven’t had the opportunity yet to study in any great detail the legislation. However, having gone through it, having looked at it very quickly, I am of the view that that new piece of legislation still does not pass constitutional muster and will still be open to a considerable number of challenges by Dean Boyce and the B.T.L.’s Employee’s Trust.”
