… while “Masters of the Floor” wow the crowd
Next, on Saturday night a huge crowd gathered at the Brodie’s parking lot on the Northern Highway for the finale of the Masters of the Floor competition. All ten dancers brought their “A” game, but when the presentations were complete the judges liked the creativity, originality, and costume of three over the rest. Here is host Joseph Stamp Romero with the winners.

“The winner of the amateur rounds is … Lincoln Jones.”

“The winner of the top six competition, the guy who can say that he dah the baddest inna the city, because we noh gone dah Orange Walk and Cayo and them places deh, is no other than … Joseph Gentle.”

Joseph Gentle bagged the top prize of seven hundred dollars, Sheldon Jones took home three hundred, while Lincoln Jones’ amateur prize was two hundred dollars.
