Double up family entertainment with the return of Duets

It’s finally here; one of Belize’s most highly anticipated family shows in the summer months. KTV Duets opens with a bang and with many surprising new elements. With contestants from all over the country, this season looks like it’s going to totally exciting and highly competitive. This year the duos will have to sing their way to the finals; both with original songs karaoke. News Five’s Andrea Polanco has a rundown of tonight’s show.

Yes folks it’s here! KTV Duets will kick off tonight at the Bliss. This year’s competition will feature fifteen live shows. Sixteen duos from around the country will be competing every Tuesday leading up to the culmination at the end of October.

The talent for this season’s show will put many before them to the test. Some pulled out Reggaeton, R&B, Dancehall, souls and for some even their guitars to make it in the final cut

And while text voting will decide which duos move on to the big sing off,  they’ll still face Santi “The Chief” Castillo,  Jenny “I love it” Lovell and the new judge on the show, Ernestine Carballo.

And while the judges may seem like the big guns at the table, KTV Duets also pulled out some big names to the stage:
