Belizean makes it into poker finals
On Tuesday night, the World Series of Poker’s Hold Em’ Championship whittled down from six thousand eight hundred and sixty five players to the final nine. We can confirm that the player who ranked number ten, John Hewitt of Costa Rica, exited the game with six hundred and seven thousand eight hundred and eighty two U.S. dollars. Most of Hewitt’s nine million plus chips were taken by Badih Bounahra during an intensive game. Bounahra, whose family owns the Mirab Stores and Appliance World, was sporting the word Belize and the national flag on his cap that he wore throughout the competition. It has been described as the climax before the climax as the final table of nine, Badih who is pictured at the extreme left of the winners photo, will return to compete against the other eight competitors in November. Clearly, if the number tenth eliminated player took home over six hundred thousand U.S., Bounahra will have nice payday even if he is not the ultimate winner in November’s finals.

I am so proud of Mr. Bounahra. I watched him when he made it to November nine and was so nervous for him. Even if he does not be the final champion he has done super great and made Belizean proud of him at home and here abroad. Best of luck and will see you in November and bet we will be cheering for you. You are a star.
We need excellence for Belize in any activity or sport-way to go Bounara-for Belize-hope this set gives you some support or recognition for the freee publicity and fame you gave Belize. It is good to see at least Speaker supports you.
