2 Orange Walk residents charged in connection with murder

Also in Orange Walk, two residents have been charged in connection with the shooting death of twenty-three year old Orson Adman Cardona. Today Orange Walk police formally arrested and charged a sixteen year old, whose name is being withheld because he is a minor and twenty one year old Juan Carlos Quintero better known as “Canicas” with Murder. The minor was additionally charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder. Cardona was fatally shot in the early hours of Wednesday, July thirteenth. He had recently returned to Orange Walk to seek employment but less than four days later he was killed. Cardona was out socializing and drinking with friends when he was murdered about three blocks away from his home as he walked behind S.P. Superstore at the corner of Arthur and South Mejiba Streets. Cardona was shot once in the abdomen.
