Two charged, one sought for 2005 rape

Tonight two accused rapists are out on bail while a third has yet to be detained. Reports out of Magistrates’ Court are that this morning twenty-year old Roman Petzold and twenty-six year old Francis Lopez were formally charged with rape in connection to an incident on April thirteenth 2005. It was on that day the victim says she went to a home in Belama Phase one to visit a friend but while inside the house, she was raped by three men. Both Lopez and Petzold were granted bail of five thousand dollars and the case has been adjourned until January twenty-ninth. The third man wanted for the crime, Robert Forman, will also be charged with rape when he is arrested by police. The case had been pursued previously but dropped before it reached the stage of a preliminary inquiry.
