Another woman assaulted; suspect charged
She did not suffer as bad a fate as Raquel Requena but another woman, a twenty-seven year old waitress of Belize City, has reported that her ex-common law husband broke into her house, sexually fondled her and threatened her with a knife. The incident occurred on the night of November twentieth and two days later police arrested thirty-five year old Alden Augustine. He was charged with burglary, aggravated burglary and two counts of aggravated assault of an indecent nature. Augustine pled not guilty and was released on five thousand dollars bail. He will return to court on December twenty-first.
