City man charged after pulling gun on cop
Thirty-six year-old Alexander “Lexus” Tesecum was remanded to prison today for allegedly pointing a pistol at a police constable. Tesecum was charged with Aggravated Assault on P.C. James Jones when he appeared before Magistrate Roberto Ordonez. He was remanded into custody until December twenty-first. The incident occurred about two forty-five a.m. on November second, but Tesecum was not taken into police custody until Monday. Jones reported to police that he was in plain clothes in front of Putt Putt Bar on Newtown Barracks buying food when Tesecum came and took out a piece of chicken from the food vendor’s pot without permission. Jones said he told Tesecum about his inappropriate behaviour and he took out his police identification card and showed it to Tesecum. Jones said Tesecum handed him back his identification card and told him that he does not know who he’s messing with. Tesecum then reportedly took out a black and silver pistol and pointed it at Jones’ chest. The drama ended when another man intervened and led Tesecum away. Police reported that when they detained Tesecum they took away his licensed point three-eighty pistol with thirteen rounds in its magazine and labelled it as evidence for the trial.
