Patrick Menzies gets bail after major altercation with GSU
Belize City contractor, twenty-six year old Patrick Menzies, also filed a bail application in the Supreme Court today. Menzies was charged on August second with Attempted Murder, Dangerous Harm, Use of Deadly Means of Harm and Wounding for allegedly hitting Police Constable Delwin Casimiro with his car. Justice Troadio Gonzalez granted him bail of fifteen thousand dollars, explaining that it was because Menzies did not flee the jurisdiction between the date of the incident and the day he was charged. Menzies still had to surrender all travel documents to the clerk of court before he was released and he is to report to the Queen Street Police Station every Friday beginning on September second. The incident occurred outside of the Princess Hotel and Casino where Menzies had an altercation with a woman. He claims that he accidentally hit the officer and that he and a friend, Rodney Lino, were later beaten by officers of the Gang Suppression Unit.
GSU, instead of curbing crime are instigating crime. Their behaviour could lead law abiding, hard working citizens to becoming “criminals”.
GSU…great job. Bring them down by any means necessary. They weren’t thinking about GSU when they were killing innocent people so now suffer the consequences. They all deserve a reward for a job well done. These guys aren’t innocent kids. They are monsters that are killing people just for the fun of it so boo hoo hoo. Get over it.
