Alleged robber threatens victim with murder
A robbery victim was targeted on Friday by the man accused of stealing from him. Jesus Navarro reported that eighteen year old Justin Grant approached him aggressively and threatened to kill Navarro as well as his family if he didn’t drop the Robbery charge. Grant reportedly told Navarro that his child will be born this Friday and he doesn’t want to go back to jail, leaving his baby without a father. Navarro made the report immediately after the confrontation and Grant was arrested on Wednesday. He was charged today with Attempted Suppression of Evidence, to which he pleaded not guilty. Bail was offered, but Grant remains on remand since he couldn’t meet the three thousand dollar bond. He returns to court in November.
Where this happened? In Camdodia or in Belize, San Ignacio , Benque, Belize City, where?
Why even give him bail? What’s good with these no brainers that work in our court system?
Good for Mr. Navarro — he’s standing up like a man to stop crime. All other Belizeans should follow his example.
Give him 5 more years on top for his stupidity.
HUUUMMMM INTRESTING VERY INTRESTING HOPE THE MAJESTRATE FIND THIS GRADUATING CRIMINAL GUILTY AND GIVE HIM 20 YEARS AS AN EXAMPLE TO OTHER WOULD BE CRIMINAL WHO THINK THEY GOT A RIGHT TO ROB PEOPLE
Give him bail then have a police trail him closely- the first intention of violence- let policemen put two in his head!- end of story
So you can be given bail after u threaten someones life. I guess the authorities want you to follow tru with your threats.
DEATH PENALTY FOR THESE BELIZEAN DOGS
Mr. Navarro is a hero – others would have gone to court to say they don’t want a case. Now I hope the police are protecting Navarro since Grant does not have to be out to carry out his threats. this is why you do not negotiate with criminals and gangsters….they want you to have pity on them but they will have no mercy on you. If Grant’s child’s birth was truly important to him he should have thought twice to go rob Navarro, whom he wants to feel sorry for him. Did he feel sorry for Navarro when he robbed him. See with freedom comes responsibility.
