Villager alleges kidnapping and abuse by cops
A Lucky Strike resident is making serious allegations against a group of police officers. Frank Elijio claims that he had to be hospitalized after he was kidnapped and brutalized by cops who picked him up while he was visiting family and friends in the St. Martin De Pores area. According to Elijio, he was with two friends on Mahogany Street on Sunday night when police arrived and searched them. Nothing was found during the search, but the cops allegedly told Elijio that he would be escorted to the police station. But Elijio says that as they drove toward the station, he was told to head toward his house in Lucky Strike instead but they ended up on feeder road off the Northern Highway.
