my best wishes to Mrs. Rita, not familiar but she represent us abroad and I feel proud that we have people who are born to be gifted in talent, knowledge and pride in their country, go Rita!!
Congratulations RitaMae. I just wanted to clarify that the article says for the first time a Belizean will become an international civil servant for an international organization. This is not true, for 10 years I have been an international civil servant with the United Nations as a Belizean and there are many others like me. I have met quite a few of them, who are all employed under their Belizean nationalities. There are a lot of Belizeans at home and abroad making us proud.

Congratulations are in order for Ms. Hyde… well deserving and the opportunity of a lifetime.
However kindly note that she is not the first Belizean to win a contract as an international civil servant with an international organization. Belize has a slate of people currently and who previously served in similar capacities across the world. …..
Congrats Ms. Rita. The History students will miss you but our new teacher is also fantastic!
