Nicholas Swazo charged for Murder of hardware store owner
Businessman, Wendelin Reimer, was violently attacked and killed in a broad daylight robbery last Friday afternoon. It is believed that three culprits were involved and today one suspect was arraigned for the Murder of the thirty-five year old owner of Eagle One Hardware Store. Twenty-four year old Nicholas Swazo was additionally charged with one count of Robbery for allegedly stealing three hundred dollars in cash during the armed hold-up. Swazo appeared before Chief Magistrate, Ann Marie Smith; he was unrepresented and has been remanded to the Belize Central Prison until November eleventh. At around one p.m. on Friday, three men stormed the premises of Eagle One Hardware at Mile four and a half on the Northern Highway. 
Reports are that the trio entered the store posing as customers and inquired about several items. When one of them drew a firearm, Reimer ran out of the store but was shot twice on the back. The entire incident was caught on surveillance camera and police arrested two men shortly after. Later that evening, a third suspect was caught hiding at a marina located at Mile two and a half on the Northern Highway. That suspect was reportedly inside a small getaway boat.
They are all guilty. The surveillance tape is the ‘eye witness’. And the truth shall set them behind bars. This should be an easy case for the prosecutors.

In this tough economic time, as businessmen and women are trying to make a living, these lazy useless parasites think they would just take someones life just like that. I hope they rot in jail

This should be an easy case for Police. Apparently, the whole thing was caught on video. Hopefully, these criminals learn what it means to take a life.

WAKE UP BELIZE THIS HAS TO STOP. TODAY ITS SOMEBODY TOMORROW IT CAN BE YOU OR ME. LETS START TAKING MATTERS IN OUR OWN HANDS. LETS DO LIKE THE GUATEMALANS, TAKE THEM TO THE STREETS BURN THEIR RASS UP OR BEAT THEM TO DEATH. THE LAW IN BELIZE WILL NEVER DO ANYTHING, WE HAVE TO START MAKING JUSTICE FOR OURSELVES
Is this what a human life has come to in Belize? 300.00?? woh! how sad and desperate these criminals are, but then the criminals are also shooting down innocent children in the street. Need to find a way to purge these ??? from society…

These killers are entitled to a fair and impartial conviction.

Mr. PM, could you please go visit Swazo and ask him why he did a cruel murder. Could you offer him your sympathies for growing up under a harsh invorenment. Maybe you could offer him some tax payer cash if he would kill a few less tax payers. You could assure him that Dickie Bradley would be more than happy to defend him.
well, i believe that all this is happening because of our present government who in our history had paid the !???ing gangs. make the police do the job prime minister and restore peace in our country. if things do not change then i encourage all BELIZEANS to become some sort of vigilantes and kill all them mother !….rs . POWER TO THE PEOPLE.
WHY DOESN’T THE GOV. AUTHORIZE TO ALL BUSINESS PEOPLE A GUN FOR THEIR PROTECTION SINCE THEY DON’T WANT TO HANG THE CRIMINALS. WE’RE FED UP THAT THEY NEVER ARE CHARGED FOR THE CRIMES THEY DO. BUSINESS PEOPLE SHOULD HAVE A GUN BY LAW FOR PROTECTION AND IT’S NOT A LUXURY BUT A NECESITY.
