Triplets born at Western Regional

There’s a heartwarming story to report tonight. Irene Garcia and her common-law husband, Alfred Avilez are the proud parents of a set of triplets. The girls, who weighed in at four and a half, four and a quarter, and four pounds respectively, were delivered at nine-fifty-one this morning at the Western Regional Hospital. The baby girls, after thirty-seven weeks of gestation, were delivered with no major complications via c-section by a team of doctors and nurse led by Dr. Melhem Ayala. The Western Regional states that “The babies are considered full term and they are all in good health.” Garcia is the mother of two other children.
