Interdicted cop with bigamy charge in court

Luciano Jaime Pena

Police officer, Luciano Jaime Pena is before the courts for a charge that is not common in Belize.  The complaint against Pena was made by his wife Ruby Pena, who found out that he also married Olga Leticia Guzman Vasquez. This morning the first witness to testify was Ruby, who has been married to Pena since February seventh, 1998. She claimed in court that ten years later, on February nineteenth, 2008, her husband got married to Olga. Three other witnesses took the stand to testify against the interdicted cop.  They were, Onelia Botes, a friend and also a witness to the marriage of his first wife; JP Palacio a businessman of Belize City who signed the application form for Pena’s second marriage and the Deputy Registrar General who married Pena in 2008 under the name Jaime Pena. The case continues on Thursday before Justice Herbert Lord.

Oh yes, my friend just called me and told me that he should join that ???? religion immediately, serious. Then he just tell the judge that since we have freedom of religion , he needs 5 more wives, that is his religious conviction !!!
