2 charged for drug trafficking
Also in court today, a woman took the rap on charges of possession of controlled drugs for marijuana that was found inside her neighbor’s house. But the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions rejected the guilty plea for on the lesser charge. That means that thirty-three year old Janice Lynch and John Michael Fitzgibbon, who appeared today before Senior Magistrate Sharon Frazer, will both have to stand trial for Drug Trafficking.
Allegations being made by police are that around five-forty-five on Monday evening, they conducted a search at Fitzgibbon’s house on Dolphin Street while Lynch was visiting. Inside the bedroom, police found a concrete block with a black plastic bag containing suspected cannabis hidden inside. Lynch and Fitzgibbon were both detained. The case was adjourned until December fifth and Magistrate Frazer offered the two defendants bail in the sum of seven thousand dollars each plus two sureties.
