Who will become the new Caribbean Shores Rep for the U.D.P.?
In news in the U.D.P., while he had denied stepping down, all indications are that the Caribbean Shores Minister, Carols Perdomo, will not seek a second term. Perdomo was elected in convention last year, but because of health issues, he will be stepping down. As we told you last week, there are many in the U.D.P. who want to have a go at the division. Perdomo had originally indicated he would support Mike Singh, but Santiago Castillo Junior is also throwing his hat in the ring. Castillo, we are told is also prepared to go all the way to convention, but another person who may be eyeing the area is Ann Marie Williams of the National Women’s Commission. It’s still not known when exactly or if a convention will be held but, as we said, Perdomo is stepping down.
