Moises Acertuna survives after undergoing surgery
In January of this year, eight year old Moises Acertuna was in a horrific traffic accident in Corozal Town. His digestive track was severed and his chances to live looked slim. He could not eat and two months after the accident, he weighed only thirty pounds. His story touched the hearts of many and after assistance from Reverend Tim Tam from the World at Work Ministries in the U.S.; Moises was flown to the Baptist St. Anthony’s Hospital in Amarillo, Texas for reconstructive surgery. Despite some initial complications, his surgery went well and on August twentieth Moises returned to the jewel and to his hometown of Corozal and is expected to live a healthy life. The surgery cost millions of dollars and this video is courtesy of the Belize Natural Energy.
Moises Acertuna, Received Lifesaving Surgery
“I dropped from a truck then some wood dropped on my tummy and then my tummy burst. I saw a white shadow by the window and he told me to get ready to go. Only one time and then all the days, angels.”
Rev. Tim Tam, World at Work Ministries
“From the beginning to now there’s been this fine thread that’s happened that’s just passed from one person to the next; just the right person being at the right place at the right time. These invisible hand working behind the scenes to orchestrate this thing and it’s been an awesome journey so a lot of pressure on Moises I think. I think God has a marvelous plan, he’s chosen him for some special reason.”
