Government declares Gegg’s W.Landivar parcel a national park
A late release from the Ministry of National Resources indicates that the parcel of land in West Landivar on which businessman Gegg sought to build a marina and office complex, has been declared a national park. Known as Dolphin Park, the area on the sea will now be developed for public use. Gegg, who had leased the land and took the necessary steps to acquire title, will be offered compensation by government, likely in the form of another piece of prime real estate.
