“This morning, unfortunately, we had received Mr. Arthur Barrow, the father of the Prime Minister Barrow. Mr. Arthur is eighty-five years old and he came in around ten o’clock this morning, conscious but not responding. His vital signs very unstable and from a very fast initial assessment, seemed to have suffered a massive stroke, which was later confirmed by a Cat scan. In spite of all the attempts to resuscitate and maintain, he passed away about two hours after he came to our institution.”

“What time was that?”
Dr. Fernando Cuellar

“The presence of family members, who are we talking about?”
Dr. Fernando Cuellar
“He had come in the company of the daughter, you know her affectionately as Sista B and perhaps within thirty minutes, the prime minister himself was around and being briefed of the situation. Mr. Barrow had been ailing for some time so in a way it was not so unexpected that this would come to pass. He was eighty-five and indeed he had lived a full life and he was in no pain or discomfort the last hours of his life and he passed away rather peacefully. The family, from what I was seeing, both Mr. Dean and the brother Mr. Denys and Sista B and the in-laws and children were all around and though the mood was a bit somber, they were accepting of the passing of Mr. Barrow.”
Barrow is also survived by his other children, Justice Denys Barrow, and Denise “Sister B” Barrow. Funeral arrangements for Barrow have not yet been announced.
