Fraudulent cheques, but weak evidence
German national, Stephanie Lupp, was the victim of embezzlement on October eighteenth 2010 when two blank cheques were stolen from her cheque book and two thousand, eight hundred dollars went missing from her account at a local bank. But when the culprits tried to make a second withdrawal of three thousand, seven hundred dollars, the police quickly arrested them. Thirty-two year old Sherlett Bailey was arraigned in October 2010 while twenty-one year old Lisani Caliz was taken before the court in December; both faced a string of charges in connection with the missing funds. But in court this week, Caliz was freed of all charges including Theft, Attempting to Claim Upon a Forged Document, Possession of a Forged Document, Uttering a Forged Document and Handling Stolen Goods. According to the Court prosecutor, Sergeant Egbert Castillo, he had no evidence to present to the court to support the charges against Caliz.

NO EVIDENCE TO PRESENT? Someone has some ‘splainin’ to do!
Get these stupid cops out of the courtroom and put some real prosecutors in there that can try a case.
