Minor arrested for Murder in Dangriga

A minor from Dangriga will be spending the Christmas and New Years away from his family but safely behind bars. Because he is underage, the name of the sixteen year old will not be released. He was arrested and charged earlier today for the crime of murder, after he fatally stabbed twenty-one year old Randy Vasquez, also of Dangriga. Vasquez, who was walking with eighteen year old Jacob Lammey on Pen Road in Dangriga last Saturday at about eight-thirty p.m., attempted to break up a fight between Lammey and the minor. During the scuffle, Vasquez was stabbed in the chest and died on the spot. Lammey was also stabbed once to the abdomen. Many persons witnessed the senseless stabbing that resulted in the loss of life.
