Two more suspects charged for burglarizing District Education Center

Andrew Lamb

Leon Burgess

The District Education Office in Belize City was burglarized last weekend and police quickly arrested nineteen year old Frank Trapp, who lives in the area. But two other suspects managed to escape… that is until Wednesday.  Twenty-two year olds, Leon Burgess and Andrew Lamb appeared before Senior Magistrate Sharon Frazer this morning and were jointly charged with Burglary. The two men were unrepresented and they both pleaded not guilty to the charge. While Lamb was granted bail of ten thousand dollars, Burgess has been remanded to the Belize Central Prison since he is in violation of the conditions of bail for previous charge. Trap, who was charged earlier this week, is also on remand because he could not meet bail. All three will reappear in court on February first, 2012. The break-in occurred on December seventeenth and thirteen thousand dollars in electronics and equipment were stolen.

Send them to THE PRISON FARM…aka…THE SUSTAINABLE REHABILITATION CENTER.

There they can EARN THEIR KEEP and CONTRIBUTE TO SOCIETY at NO COST TO TAX-PAYERS.
