He didn’t know he got shot

All was not quiet in the former capital either. Fifty-eight year old Alfonso Zetina was shot in the shoulder while walking along Youth For The Future Drive on Christmas Day.  Interestingly, the laborer, of a Belize City address, was unaware that he was the victim of a shooting incident which occurred an hour earlier.  According to Zetina, around two o‘clock that afternoon upon reaching the foot of the BelChina Bridge he heard a loud bang; however, he paid no attention to the origin of the discharge.  It wasn’t until three o’clock when he arrived home that he noticed blood oozing from his shoulder.  He was later transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he received treatment for gunshot wounds.  Police investigation continues.
