Early morning stabbing leaves city youth dead
A Belize City man was fatally stabbed in the wee hours of this morning. Around two forty-five police were called to the Newtown Barracks where they found twenty-five year old Mark Flowers suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen. Flowers died shortly after reaching the K.H.M.H. Police reports indicate that Flowers was standing outside Caesar’s Palace nightclub when he was accosted by three men who drove up in a red Toyota Camry, two of whom were armed with knives. Flowers ran but was eventually caught and the stab wound inflicted. Police have detained one man and are seeking others for questioning.
