Man committed to Batterers Intervention Program
Twenty-eight year old Elvis Haylock has been sentenced to attend a Batterers Intervention Program at the Women’s Department after his wife, Shawn Haylock, accused him of domestic abuse. Today, Haylock was arraigned on a single charge of harm, after it was reported that on Monday, he intentionally and unlawfully caused harm to his wife. Haylock who was unrepresented pleaded not guilty to the charge and was offered bail in the sum of one thousand five hundred dollars under the condition that he must attend the Women’s Department program. The matter was adjourned until February twenty-ninth, 2012.
