A Corozal minor has made serious allegations against town councilor, Willie Cruz, who she claims got her drunk and raped her after she passed out. The incident reportedly occurred on December twenty-ninth and a doctor has certified that the sixteen year old girl was carnally known, but no charges have yet been brought against Cruz, who is also seeking reelection in the March seventh municipals. Today News Five checked with the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions and found out that the file from the police department has still not been forwarded for a decision. There have been conflicting reports from the alleged victim’s father and the police. The father claims that the minor was kept in Cruz’ van against her will and was forced to consume alcohol. The police, however, report that the teen admitted to socializing with Cruz in the vehicle and that they spent the night together, but she could not remember what happened.

She have been with other men before this guy,and she had sex with him before,she just got caught so she had to find an excuse.She need to tell the truth and tell her parents where she been getting money and gifts from.

The saying is that when the lower head fires up, the upper head freezes. While what this ediot did is reprehensible, the way he did it is so stupid. However, let me say that in Belize their are some young ladies that love money and they like to ask men for it making promises that later they do not want to keep. I am of the opinion that this imprudent did not pick her by coincidence. It was a date. Did he pour the drink down her throat?. Is there sign of violence and of struggle?. I believe this young lady got in the car knowing very well what could happen and was fully aware when it happened. Now she is playing victim and the other fool is going to pay for it.
It does not matter how many men she has been with, the fact remains that if there was force – the person is guilty. Ladies know your limits of drinking when u go out alone, with strangers or friends. So many disease in belize u don’t want to wake up HIV+ because of 1 night.
I am sure she knew exactly what happened! She is a child who is rushing to become a woman. At this rate she could have been carnally known many months ago!
Willie should be charged for stupidity for socializing with a minor! She is just a jail bait. Willie was stupid enough to trade one night of pleasure for years in jail! I am sure there are many grown women who would not have cried foul!
According to BElize law she is not a minor. Its obvious that they weren’t strangers, bc no sensible woman would take a ride from a stranger. Second she agmitted to taking drinks and socialing with the man. Unless the man held a knife or a gun to her head, i can’t see how you can be forced to drink alcohol. Then suddenly she black out and nuh know what happened? Its clear that she was already having sex before this man and probably was having sex with this man in the past. It sounds that she stayed out too late and her father was pissed bc she was out with a man and the daughter made up the story to cover her @$$. I mean the girl isn’t even the one making the complaint. She is not even saying that this man raped her.
