Emory King laid to rest
Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Holy Redeemer Cathedral for well known personality Emory King. King, a successful businessman, writer, historian and perpetual promoter of Belize, died Tuesday night at his home in Tropical Park following a battle with cancer. The seventy-six year old is survived by his son, Emory Junior and two grandchildren. He was the founding chairman of this station’s parent company and was one of the pioneers in the introduction of television to Belize in the early nineteen eighties.
