58 year old woman’s a busted burglar

A fifty-eight-year-old housewife and grandmother from Burrell Boom has been accused in a burglary at the home of her neighbor, John Wade. Glenda Neal was arraigned before Magistrate Sherigne Rodriguez today on charges of Burglary and Damage to Property. Allegations are that on January twelfth, Wade’s stepson, Delmont Black spotted Neal hanging around the house. Later that day he heard a knock at the door and while he went to check, he heard another noise coming from a window in the house. That’s when Black claims he saw Neal clearing glass from a window she had broken and then reaching into the house. When she realized she’d been caught, Neal allegedly begged Black not to tell anyone what he saw and left the area. In court today, Neal pleaded not guilty to both charges and was granted bail of six hundred dollars. She is due back in court on March first.
