Karim Berges: Political poll number two is underway
Former U.D.P. Campaign Manager, Karim Berges, with technical assistance from Yasmine Andrews, recently released the results of a poll in respect of the upcoming elections. In that survey several key questions were presented to the electorate, including the possibility of early General Elections following Municipal Elections in early March. The most interesting result of that poll was that the difference in support for the two established political parties is slim. The team of pollsters today released a subsequent questionnaire. Among the questions asked is whether government should complete its five year term prior to calling general elections. The poll also asks what are the determining factors that will influence voting in the upcoming general elections. The electorate is also being asked who is most responsible for the current state of Belize’s economy. Unlike the first poll, a thousand participants are being surveyed.
