Burglary suspect caught red handed in O.W.

An accused thief is sitting tight in Hattieville Prison tonight after he was busted trying to steal from an Orange Walk homeowner. Around eight-thirty Sunday night, forty-one year old Michael Witzil called police after he walked into his house and found that someone had stolen several items of jewellery, electronics, and a small amount of cash, all valued at more than three thousand dollars. Investigators arrived on the scene quickly and as they searched the victim’s backyard, they found a man with a knapsack hiding out. The suspect was immediately detained and cops say they found most of the missing items in his backpack. He has since been identified as twenty-two year old Israel Murillos, a resident of San Felipe Street. Murillos has since been arrested and charged with Burglary and remanded until his next court date on August ninth.
