Another Murder in the West; 29 year old Reggie Martinez found stabbed to death
In the capital, police are investigating a gruesome murder that took place in the outskirts of Belmopan. Police say they have little to go by and the family of twenty-nine year old Reggie Martinez, a resident of Maya Mopan, was too shocked to appear on camera. Shortly before two-thirty this morning a team of officers visited an area adjacent to a football field in that community where they saw the lifeless body of a Hispanic male identified as Martinez. He was clad in a red t-shirt and jersey shorts, lying face up. Whoever killed Martinez inflicted numerous stab wounds to the chin, throat and chest. At the scene of the crime, police found a beach cruiser bicycle, which belonged to Martinez.
KILL THE KILLER. No mercy,no exceptions.

What will the police do about the Bloods, MS 13 and 16 gangs that are operating in Maya Mopan? They beat up and kill people just for being in the area if you are from Salvapan and San Martin. It’s crazy! I believe the Police know them.

Too much bars and prostitition in here. Government needs to do something with the consumption of rum. Men and some women drink as if rum is about to finish. There should be a control on this evil beverage. Rum if more dangerous that the herb. I used to drink and I know well that to give up drinking is very difficult, but there has to be a will to want to leave it. I sympatize with the family of Late Martinez. May Justice prevail.
