Drunken machete to neck murder in Bladen

A man known to enjoy his liquor was murdered in the south of the country. Early Monday morning forty-five year old Felix Cucul and his sister Carmen Cucul were socializing at a bus stop at Bladen Village in Punta Gorda. The drinking resumed in the night and they were joined by Dion Foreman around eight-thirty. According to reports, they were all smoking cannabis and drinking under a shed between miles forty-three and four on the Southern Highway. They were then confronted by Feliciano Pop, who was also drinking with them in the morning. However, Pop and Felix became embroiled in an argument. Pop then produced a machete and chopped Felix squarely behind the neck, killing him on the spot. At about ten-thirty on Monday night police processed the scene and removed the body. Pop, however, had already fled the scene and is still at large. According to some reports Pop and Felix had old beef which was doused by the liquor.
