Parham Family busted by GSU

The Gang Suppression Unit (GSU) has not slowed down its efforts to rid the streets of drugs and ammunition. Early this morning the GSU searched the Parham residence on Curassow Street. Six structures, three concrete buildings and three shacks are built on the compound. Upon arrival the GSU sighted twenty-three year old Kenroy Parham sitting in front of his house.  Parham was searched and a black nine-millimeter Sig Sauer Brand pistol, loaded with a magazine of nine rounds of nine-millimeter ammunition was found in his pants waist.  As a result, Parham was arrested and charged with Kept Unlicensed Firearm and Ammunition.

While Parham was being searched a sixteen-year-old female minor was seen acting suspiciously inside one of the shacks.  When approached, she ran and threw out a black plastic bag from the window.  Inside the bag GSU officers found seventy-eight grams of cannabis. She was arrested and charged with Drug Trafficking. But the bust was not over. Inside another building, a fourteen year old was found inside a bedroom with one of the Parham’s. According to the GSU, the minor made verbal statements alleging carnal knowledge.  She was escorted to the Crimes Investigation Branch Sexual Offence Section for further questioning. The thirty-one year old suspect has been detained pending charges of Carnal knowledge of a girl.
