Decision 2012; Viewers’ poll on who will win Election
It’s the countdown to Decision 2012 so the guessing game and predictions on the outcome are fast and furious. This week we asked viewers: who do you think will win the 2012 elections? The options were P.U.P., U.D.P. and others. If the results of our online poll are any indication, it’s going to be a victory for the blue team on March seventh. There were a total of four thousand, seven hundred and twenty-eight voters and an overwhelming ninety-one percent or four thousand three hundred and nine believe that the P.U.P. will win. Eight percent voted for the U.D.P. while only percent chose others. And while a P.U.P. victory is being predicted, it is also expected to be a close election, according to the comments on our blog. While some went so far as to guess how many seats each party will win, one person said “I think this will be very close indeed but the people know this Government has failed and has no vision to grow the economy. With that said, I believe the PUP will be victorious.”
91% wow i guess all other polls are wrong. i mean maybe 60 40 in favor of pup i would believe.
still power to the people on the 7th . they will put all polls to rest.
I would like to see what the PUP will bring to the table and if channel five will report on their failures too, I take it the people who talk about economic growth haven’t seen the major first world countries with larger industries than ours are suffering. WHAT CAN THE PUP DO REALLY?? hopefully not what they did the last time they were in power…cause damn!!
Regradless of who wins the election I hope the people will demand some
serious efforts to resolve the difficult questions that confront the people of
Belize. Rampant crime, the situation of the Super Bond, how to handle the
decisions the way people want the natural resouces want to be handled
(Read oil) . If the goverment does not address these things in an efficacious
manner then it won’t matter who wins.

You HAVE to look at your results carefully and see how extremely off they are from the scientific poll, which means that something is skewed. Does this throw questions to the other polls as well? Does it speak of the habits of your audience or some kind of bias?
Come on guys do you honestly think that Oscar Sabido, Ivan Ramos, Phillip Palacio, Amin Hegar, Anthony Sylvester, Arthur Saldivar, Martin Galvez, Collet Montejo, Carolyn Trench-Sandiford could win their divisions???

and talking about PUP and UDP…… all my family and i were big supporters of John saldivar in belmopan, we all voted for him last elections but guess what NO MORE!!!!!!! he is an arrogant man and does nothing for his people or his area unless you are one of his friends or relative you will get your pocket filled…. lets not b stupid bcas yes they are helping but only their close people not all the belizean people

philip palacio is going up against a strong udp contender – however philip palacio can well defeat him and likewise anthony slyvester in the southside. arthur saldivar has been campaigning for so long that he’s sure to beat castro and oscar sabido also up cayo. these are all brilliant attorneys at law who have a vision for the country.
and up belmopan the doctor is doing pretty well for himself. i believe these candidates will bring it home for PUP.
as for Lake I- that a pup area from long time. so galvez will win his seat.
PUP will get between 17 to 19 seats
PUP will win because of the economy.
UDP will win majority in Belize City but outdistrict will bring in the PUP.
Mr. Barrow is disrespectful, arrogant and cannot agree that some will disagree with him without causing embarrassment.The issues affecting us are though:
1. No new employment as there is no investments -Everybody fraid fu he! Giving out scholarships is not the issue. No jobs for our young pplafter school, so scholarship is a joke! He give jobs only toAnwar, Nestor Vasquez, Lois, his daughter and his bro. No other capable belizeans deh then?
2. He changes the law to violate our human rights—-example created the gun law and encarcerate innocent people but yet pays gang members? Dat nomek sense.
3. Pass the ninth ammendment by manipulating the forums with the bulk being his ppl and generated even more fear in investors…foreignors and locals alike…fraid he wake up and want yu business fu himself one day and as ppl are complaingin taking away pple property without paying for it. That is a thief..yet you full you mouth di call pple criminal. You are the biggest criminal Oliva
4. Disrespect respectable thinking women in our society who are trying to make a difference, No forget behind evry good man is a good woman and that you no have behind you now!! look at Ms. matura, Ms. Shakron (how low you gone barrow…you mi fraid fu she), Zenaida Moya – no one saying but she really brought you victory but you quickly forgot and ensured you screwed up her reputaiton and how about the high commission lady. You are a disgrace to be representing the nation.
4. It had to get to a referendum so you get the sense pple tiad of your abuse….and now you wah get the real sense in less that 48 hours Mr.Barrow.
5. Economy no grow as you more enthused about fighting Ashcroft and defending your point a the tax payers expense. People going to bed hungry and our quality of life deterioriating.

7. stop mislead pple with the superbond -that was a consolidation of both government debts.
What have you done for the “poor people” as you often refer to us? hand out and hampers no solve the problem in the long run…do something real for the poor.
