Marked Man Murdered
The latest murder victim was found this morning. He is twenty-three year old Herman Garbutt Junior, who was found dead under a tree in Mahogany Heights with gunshot wounds. Family members told us off camera that at around eleven o’clock on Monday night, at least two gunshots rang out. While police haven’t been able to establish a motive for this latest killing, it is being alleged that Garbutt was a marked man for some time and that he was the intended target when eight year old Eyannie Nunez was killed back in September of 2010. It is being alleged that Garbutt fled the city limits and moved to Mahogany Heights. Raphael Martinez, acting police press officer says there isn’t much to go by, just the bare facts of the discovery of the body.
Raphael Martinez, Acting Police Press Officer
“At approximately six o’clock this morning, based on information received, police visited a footpath in the area of Mahogany Heights, where they saw a person lying on the ground, face down. He was later identified to be twenty-three year old Herman Garbutt and he was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. This body was later transported to the Karl Huesner Memorial Hospital, where of course he was pronounced dead on arrival. It’s sad to say that we haven’t gotten any leads in connection with this latest incident.”

“Okay. The police recovered expended shells, I believe?”
Raphael Martinez
“On the scene police recovered three expended shells, nine millimeter and of course, two slugs.”
Martinez says that there are no suspects so far and investigations continue into this latest murder.

Government needs to offer a good reward to find the murderer.
