Basketball game ends when a teen is shot on Jane Usher Boulevard
Also on Saturday night, a teenager was shot shortly after eight o’clock when he was playing basketball. One bullet hit him on the lower left-side of the abdomen and another grazed him on the right arm. The Jane Usher Boulevard resident, eighteen year old Christopher Jorgenson, was on the basketball court across from his house when two men rode up; one of them pulled the trigger and two shots met their target. Police Press Officer, Inspector Fitzroy Yearwood, who is now back on assignment after a four month hiatus, says they are looking for the suspects.

“Investigators haven’t picked up much on that. We know that on the fourteenth, Jorgensen and some other guys were on the basketball court on Curl Thompson Street; this is on the Jane Usher Boulevard Area, when two men rode up. One facilitated the other with a firearm and he fired several shots injuring Jorgenson on that court. Jorgenson was transported to the KHMH and we are yet to record a proper statement from Jorgenson in trying to identify who could have done that.”
No one has been detained.
