Death by caterpillar tractor

Another man was killed, but in a freak accident on Wednesday afternoon. Fifty year old Kent Myvette, a mechanic of Unitedville was killed shortly after three o’clock in an area nine miles into a feeder road near mile twenty-four on the Western Highway.  There they observed the motionless body of Myvette, an employee of Belize River Farm Company, whose left foot was caught beneath the track of a Caterpillar tractor.  Investigations later revealed that around two-thirty that afternoon forty-three year old Freddie Dominguez was plowing a tract of land when he accidentally ran over Myvette’s leg.  Dominguez and a co-worker tried desperately to free Myvette from under the massive wheel of the vehicle but their attempt was futile.  They then sought assistance from other employees in the area; however, upon returning to the scene of the mishap they discovered Myvette’s body.  Dominguez has since been served a notice of intended prosecution.
